Alexandra Heumber Perry
Alexandra specializes over the past 20 years in patient issues in global health and is based in Geneva. She has a Master’s in health product law, an executive diploma in global health diplomacy from the Geneva Graduate Institute and has previously worked with Medicines for Europe and MSF in Brussels, and Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi), UICC and currently supporting World Federation of Hemophilia, World Obesity with their global advocacy. She has experience in leading a successful WHO resolution process for DNDi, also the recent adoption process of the Global Action Plan on neurological disorders. Pierrick Adam is Head of the Infectious Diseases Programs Control Unit in the Ministry of Health, French Polynesia. Previously he spent a year as a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University working on essential diagnostics and Universal Health Coverage. During his medical training he undertook residencies at Institut Pasteur in the Emerging Diseases Epidemiology Unit, and at santé publique France in the Alert and Crisis Coordinating Unit and the Healthcare Emergencies Response and Preparedness Unit.

Dr. Mikashmi Kohli completed her PhD in Molecular Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Having completed a postdoctoral fellowship and is currently doing an MSc in epidemiology at McGill University. She worked in India on the diagnosis of TB, especially extrapulmonary TB. She has also been working with the Cochrane Systematic Review team on diagnostic accuracy of molecular tests in TB.

Lee Schroeder is Associate Professor at the University of Michigan where he is Director of Point-of-Care Testing and Associate Director of Chemical Pathology. His academic focus is at the interface of clinical informatics and health services research, using decision analytic approaches to model and improve the impact of laboratory medicine. This has included research involving laboratory capacity and quality improvement of sub-Saharan African laboratories, empirical work on laboratory capabilities in Ghana and Uganda, and work related to the WHO Essential Diagnostics List.
